New year, new stuff.
After not having much raids during the Christmas holiday, we went into Dragon Soul for the first time in 2012 and made sure Morchok passed on our intentions to the other bosses!
One down, 7 to go!

So after a few nights of struggling, we finally cleared Dragon Soul on normal mode!
Heroics, here we come!

Dragon Soul site updates

As you probably know, 4.3 is arriving this week and as such a few minor updates to the site to keep it up to date.

The Dragon Soul raid should now be displayed in the progress widget but may sit at “0/7″ for awhile. Hopefully not because we’re terrible, but because other sites need to update their APIs…or at least that’s what we’ll keep telling everyone.

DKP has also been updated to the new tier, let me know if missed anyone but hopefully everyone in the raid team should of been migrated across correctly.

Make sure you read up on the patch and check out Bulaks post for a quick update and make sure to read the guides Hb posted over in the PvE section.

Shame though, I think most people are already bored of slaughtering dragons!

Good news: We have a shiny new website!

Bad news: Can you all please re-register your accounts, ta!

You won’t see anything astonishingly new, you can still find the forums and DKP in their usual place. If anything, it now does less! We do have a lovely new progress widget that will automatically update with how awesome/terrible we’re doing and there’s a lot more integration with the armoury for the remaining bastion of Warcraft players.

Once you’ve set up a new account on the forums you’ll need to go to this thread and do one of the following:

Members of the raid team: Post the name of your character that you raid with, simple as. This will allow your account to be linked to a character and you’ll now see your raid attendance, DKP and character portrait on the homepage. How very needless! You also need to do this in order to sign for raids, so please do!
Members of the guild: Post the name of one of your characters (ideally one you consider to be your main). This is optional, but will give you a lovely portrait and the ability to sign up to those non-raid events that sometimes maybe happen…possibly.
Ex-Warcraft junkies: We admire you and want to be like you, but we’re not cool enough. Can you also post with who you are in that thread so I can give you the appropriate forum permissions. Ta!

If you spot anything that isn’t working or looks wrong please let me know unless you’re Unravel, in which case keep it to yourself! Also, IE users; I don’t care – get off my Internet.
